明日（11/25-20223）からチェンマイはチェンマイ・デザイン・ウィークの一環のJazz Festivalが始まります。

吉祥寺といえばサムタイム、大学の頃からJazz好きでボトルいれてたよ（って、ボトルキープなんて若者は知らないよね、若者って言っていること時代が化石か）。チェンマイに来る直前も見納めで2日連続、板垣光弘さんのピアノ聞きにライブ行きました。

チェンマイ・デザイン・ウィークは、チェンマイの様々な分野のクリエイティブ・プロフェッショナル、デザイナー、職人、アーティスト、起業家がコラボレーションし、現代の人々のライフスタイルに合った革新的なデザインや新しいプロジェクトを発表するとともに、他都市からデザイナーやクリエイターを招聘し、多様なクリエイティブ文化を共有し発信するフェスティバルです。

The “Chiangmai Street Jazz & Heritage 2023: Sound Of The City: Grooving To the Diversity”

Festival is set to take place from November 25th to December 3rd. The festival revolves around three main themes:

Revitalizing the Streets with Music: The goal is to breathe life into the streets of Chiang Mai with music, leading to more community-based musical performances.

Promoting Music as a Learning Tool: The festival aims to integrate music into the learning processes of both the young and the elderly. This year, there will be numerous workshops throughout the week.

Valuing Every Note of Culture: The festival emphasizes the diverse dreams and cultures of the city’s inhabitants, from children to refugees. It believes that music isn’t just something you listen to; it’s something you feel. This year, they’ve introduced a special stage called the ‘Mahoree stage’ dedicated to local music, indigenous communities, and the spirit of culture.

Reflecting on the past five years, the organizers recognize Chiang Mai as a diverse international community that continuously inspires.

This year, they invite everyone to dream of a future where everyone moves to the same rhythm, celebrating the unique pace of life in Chiang Mai.

From November 25th to December 3rd, everyone is invited to be a part of something bigger than just a festival and to dive into the city’s life rhythms with the ChiangMai Street Jazz & Heritage 2023 festival.
